Skype Screen Sharing Now Available on Android and iOS
Microsoft has announced the launch of Skype screen sharing also for Android and iOS devices.
Skype has always been one of the easiest ways to share your screen with others, and now we’re taking one of our most popular features on the go. Starting today, we are launching screen sharing on Android and iOS, along with numerous improvements to our mobile calling experience.

Whether you have a last-minute meeting while you’re travelling, or your dad doesn’t know how to use your phone’s screen sharing on Android and iOS, you can do it from anywhere. Maybe you want to shop online with your best friends, or you have to collaborate with someone on the other side of the world from the comfort of your sofa, without having to drag the laptop! Just start a Skype call, tap the brand new “…” menu and start sharing the screen.
Speaking of brand new, Skype’s mobile call redesign simplifies video calling. A single touch will eliminate call controls and allow you to fully experience the most essential Skype feature: an unobstructed video call. Do you want to make it even cleaner? Try a double tap to remove everything. A single touch shows all the controls, with everything you need most in the front and center.
We’ve added everything else in the newly redesigned “…” menu. This new menu allows you to access all our useful features, such as screen sharing, call recording and subtitles, all while keeping your video call simple.
We are proud to release these updates for our mobile calling experience, allowing everyone to get more from anywhere. The share of the mobile screen is available on the latest version of Skype on devices Android and iOS with iOS 12 and later.
