Microsoft for Startup: Microsoft commits $500M for new startup initiative

Microsoft for Startup” will provide access to technology, knowledge-to-market and community benefits to help startups in developing their customers and revenue base.

Charlotte Yarokoni, Corporate Vice President of Microsoft’s Growth and Ecosystems, on Wednesday said, “We are raising $500 million in the next two years to offer joint sales with startups, as well as access to our technology and new community spaces.”

Microsoft has over 40,000 sales representatives and hundreds of thousands of affiliates.

The program provides dedicated resources for creating startup marketing and sales teams to effectively sell their cloud solutions to enterprise organizations in partnership with Microsoft’s global sales organization and partner ecosystem.

This program offers startup up to $120,000 in Free Azure Credits, Enterprise-Grade Technical Support and Development Tools – Supports languages of your choice

“In addition, the qualified startup also provides access to productivity and business applications, including Office 365 and Microsoft Dynamics 365”.

Microsoft Reactors are physical spaces where entrepreneurs, developers, investors and business communities can come together to exchange, learn and share.

“In the next month (March), we will open doors to new Microsoft reactor spaces in London, Sydney, Tel Aviv, Berlin, Shanghai and Beijing,” said Yarkoni.
