Microsoft Announces Upcoming Features for Yammer Mobile App

Yammer’s team announced many new and upcoming features available in the mobile application passing on iOS and Android. They have added the ability to post announcements, use GIFs photos in posts, and praise someone or group. Check out these features below

Announcement - Yammer Mobile Apps

Sharing announcement will allow administrators to post about upcoming news, events, and new resources in their organization. Each member of the group receives a notification and a message in their inbox when the administrator posts something as an announcement.

GIFs features - Yammer Mobile Apps

Users can express themselves more visually so that participation can be increased and shared with the new GIFs features.

Praise Mobile - Yammer Mobile Apps

Users can now praise a person or group of people who have done a great job. This feature is now available on iOS and will be available on Android soon.

In addition to the above, a Yammer team will add the following new feature soon.

  • You will be able to create a poll in the mobile app passing to get a pulse and quick reactions from your organization.
  • The mobile application will also integrate with other Office 365 applications so you can easily access resources such as your group SharePoint document library, website, OneNote and Planner.
  • The alternative text will be integrated to enhance access to the application.
